Position Overview
USA Weather is seeking an experienced and motivated Information Technology Director to oversee the organization's technology infrastructure, software development initiatives, website operations, and technical strategy.
The Information Technology Director serves as the senior technology leader for USA Weather and is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and continued development of the organization's digital services, forecasting systems, internal applications, and public-facing platforms.
This position works closely with leadership, meteorological staff, and technical personnel to support the organization's mission through innovative and dependable technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain Public Website
- Maintain Staff Internal Website
- Develop new technology as needed for the organization
- Maintain an enhance security measures on both websites
- Reports to Administration
Must Have
- Knowledge of PHP, MYSQL, and PhpMyAdmin
- Knowledge of Bootstrap Framework
- Knowledge of Javascript, AXAX, and JSON
- Knowledge of API's including ArcGIS
- Ability to think outside the box.
Nice to have
- Additional Code Lanugages
- Knowledge of Laravel to expand the Org sites further
